Exceptional People Make Sunnybrook An Extraordinary Place  Dr. Sherry Cooper
If you speak to Dr. Sherry Cooper about her experience with Sunnybrook, you will hear nothing but praise for the exceptional people who make Sunnybrook an extraordinary place.
Dr. Cooper, Executive Vice President, Global Economic Strategist, for BMO Financial Group, has been sharing her considerable expertise as a member of Sunnybrook Foundation’s Board of Directors since 2002. Dr. Cooper says she became involved because, “I was so impressed by the high calibre of the Hospital, the commitment and dedication of the volunteers and the quality of the Foundation.” Dr. Cooper’s volunteer involvement at Sunnybrook continues to grow. At the Foundation’s Annual General Meeting September 24th, 2007, Dr. Cooper stepped forward to take on an even greater leadership position as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors, Treasurer, and Chair of the Audit & Finance Committee. Dr. Cooper adds she feels fortunate to be involved with the Campaign today; the opportunity to see it take shape, after many years of careful and often tedious planning is gratifying. Dr. Cooper notes, “seeing the cranes go up is a fantastic morale lift for everyone: the hospital, the community and the Foundation.”
