Hosting A Community Event Supports Sunnybrook…When It Matters Most Community events are fundraising events held by an individual, group, or organization to support the work of Sunnybrook. Many community event organizers are grateful to our world class staff for the care they or a loved one received, others wish to honour the life of a family member or valued co-worker, while some organizers simply want to support health care in their community. There are many ways that you can help Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. From a party to a sporting event, there is always a way to give back. Your imagination is the limit: from dinner parties, golf tournaments, fashion shows to backyard barbeques. We Can Support Your Event By:
 - Providing tools for planning (i.e. sample budget, solicitation letters, sponsorship packages, etc.)
- Reviewing any planning timeline documents and recommending next steps.
- Writing an endorsement letter
- Assisting in confirming a Hospital staff member to attend and/or speak
- Promoting the event throughout the Hospital
- Assisting in devising an easy method to accept payment, and ensuring it is easily tracked and earmarked to which fund the proceeds are being directed
- Helping to provide volunteers for the day of the event
- Providing Sunnybrook materials (i.e., brochures, banners, balloons)
